As we inch towards the close of yet another year of uncertainty, we can’t help but feel the need to focus our energies on the spirit and joy that the December holiday season brings with it. It’s important for us to recognise the comfort and security our homes offer us, you know, like the song- outside equals frightful, but inside is so delightful!

So we collected a few suggestions to help your home reflect your holiday mood!

1. Festive Lights

Whilst searching for inspiration for this article, we came across a stunning 2 BHK in Ghodbunder Thane tastefully and considerately dressed in fairy lights. The warm glow of fairy lights are able to make the most ordinary night sing with promise of a lovely evening. Combine them with some dim lights and candles, and Christmas isn’t coming, it’s here!

2. Greens

Ask any renowned developers in Mumbai and you’ll be told that plants and nature are the greatest complements to any home, no matter how opulent or intimate. So, amp it up for the holiday season by creating cosy corners in your home with a scattering of local plants that can be decorated with lights to heighten that holiday feel (for added festivities, glitter goes great with green!)

3. Get Creative with Ornaments

While visiting one of our one of the renowned housing projects in Goa earlier this month, we were stunning to notice the creativity with which Christmas ornaments were used! The already jolly beachside property in Goa was further jazzed up with little Christmas ornaments artistically laid out as decoration for dinner tables, in vases filled with what didn’t fit on the trees and bobbles strung together as garlands at the doors. There seems to be no end to what can be achieved with the use of Christmas ornaments as décor to spruce up your festive feelings!
